Who’s It For?
This study is for anyone looking to explore faith and Scripture in a safe and welcoming space:
If you’re spiritually curious and want to deepen your understanding of Jesus, His teachings, and God’s story.
If you’re wrestling with doubts, deconstructing, or asking hard questions that you haven’t felt safe to voice elsewhere.
If you’ve experienced disconnection or hurt from "church" but feel drawn to re-engage spiritually.
If you’re feeling alone in your faith journey and want to connect with others in a supportive and understanding community.
Wherever you are in your spiritual journey—whether you’re seeking answers, rediscovering faith, or simply exploring—you’re welcome here. This group provides a space to reflect, ask questions, and grow in understanding as we draw closer to God and His story together.
Our Approach
This study takes a story-by-story journey through the Gospels, focusing on Jesus—not just as a teacher or figure in history, but as the fulfilment of God’s story. Each session is an opportunity to:
Read and Reflect: Center on passages from the Gospels while drawing from the entirety of Scripture to see how the whole story points to Jesus. Using a harmony approach, we’ll explore different accounts of the same story across the Gospels to gain a richer understanding of His life, teachings, and purpose.
Explore the Context: Engage with the historical, cultural, and literary context of Scripture to better understand its meaning. We’ll consider how the original audiences would have understood these stories and teachings, while reflecting on their relevance today.
Discover the Bigger Picture: Uncover how Scripture’s interconnected narrative reveals Jesus as the fulfillment of God’s promises and the embodiment of the Kingdom of God. Through this, we’ll see how Scripture invites us to live with wisdom, purpose, and hope as part of God’s ongoing story.
Share and Discover Together: Bring your own questions, doubts, and reflections to the group as we explore how Jesus and His teachings connect to our lives and our understanding of God’s Kingdom.
Engage Group-Driven Themes: Periodically, we’ll take short breaks from the main study to explore questions or themes that the group is struggling with, wants to engage more deeply, or that arise naturally from our conversations. These moments provide space for collective exploration and deeper understanding.
What Makes This Study Different?
In-Depth Exploration: We’re not here to rush through a 25-minute sermon or lecture. Instead, we take time to engage thoughtfully with Scripture, allowing space for reflection and dialogue.
Open Conversations: Bring your questions, doubts, and curiosity—this is a space for honest dialogue and shared discovery, free from judgment or rigid expectations.
Not Agenda-Driven: This study is not focused on promoting specific doctrinal, social, cultural, or political agendas. Instead, we center on the richness of Scripture, the life and teachings of Jesus, and how they connect to our lives and the bigger story of God’s Kingdom.
This is not a church or a replacement for one—it’s a group where we explore faith and Scripture together, building community through meaningful conversations and shared discovery. Whether you’re spiritually curious, re-engaging with faith, or questioning everything, you’ll find a welcoming and judgment-free environment here.
